Abstract

In the work, the authors continue their work on the operating parameters of a needle crusher of biological materials. The following results of the research on the comminution process as well as the worn and damaged elements of the drive system, after their operation are finished, are presented. In the grinding process, vibrations of the grinding system are tested and their variability over time is determined. However, after the end of the process, the damaged elements are examined, their condition and causes of degradation are analyzed. The research raises the issue of the security of the anthropotechnical system, in this case the facility itself and its employees directly serving it. The process of using the machine must secure the economic efficiency of the task, in this case the impact on the environment, including people and the environment, becomes of secondary importance. The paper presents the results of the research on the metallographic specimen of the bearing elements, in which not only external form changes are visible, but also some structure components that differ significantly in the light reflection coefficient. As a result of research on the structure, process and its parameters, the authors will try to develop an operation model, indicating the parameters that significantly affect the process being carried out and the observed wear of the grinding system, in particular the safety of individual components of the grinding system of biological materials under extreme process conditions.
