Abstract

The article presents the design of a research stand used to determine the tension force in transport straps employed for securing cargo. The proposed construction allows for the simulation of various transport conditions, including changes in the angle of strap application and varying cargo parameters such as height and center of gravity position. The implemented solution enables the reproduction of real-world conditions during cargo transport, which allows for the assessment of how these parameters influence the forces acting in the securing straps. The paper includes a description of the stand's construction, its operating principle, and outlines its functional features. A structural strength analysis was carried out using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The article also presents the results of tests conducted on the built stand, which may prove valuable to designers and users of transport straps, as well as for establishing conditions for their use.
